Basics:

This package contains input data records of physical building parameters:

• Type of building occupancy (Building Type)

• Type of attic use and its head demand (Roof)

• Type of basement use and its heat demand (Basement)

• Window frame materials (Windows)

• Construction part materials (Wall Type)

• Energetic standard of building (Age of Building)

• Energetic standard of windows (Age of Windows)

These records describe the basic inpt data sets of the template models in BuildingAndConsumers.

How to add new records:

During maintenance work, developers add further data records depending on the ongoing development of individual standards and inform users about changes in the release notes. However, developers are not responsible for making a complete data set available for every use case. If users require alternative standards, they can add these based on the existing record API. For this purpose, the user must create an extension of the respective base record and save it in a user-specific library. The available base records in Green City serve as templates for the data of the respective extension.
