Use
The MeasureThermal component enables the measurement of temperature and volume flow in a pipe between two elements connected by the thermal interface. It is most commonly used to measure the input parameters for heating system controllers.
Parameters and Connectors
To ensure the correct operation, the volume flow has to flow from ▶PipeIn to ▶PipeOut. The measured values of the medium temperature (▶TMedium) and the volume flow (▶qvMedium) are accessible via the real output connectors.
Model Background
The component represents an ideal measuring element. It has no internal volume and therefore it does not influence the flowing medium. Furthermore, there is no delay between the real value and the measured value.
