The air conditioning model simulates the behavior of a simple split air -conditioning system, including the indoor and outdoor unit in one model. In this model heating or cooling power is transferred via fresh air to the corresponding building zone ('QHeatCool'). The required power consumption is thus calculated statically via the 'COP'. For the electrical supply the model is connected to the low-voltage grid via AC connection.

The air conditioning model can only be controlled via the corresponding fan controller. The system is switched on if cooling is enabled. Note that when switched on the system runs constantly without any modulation.
